Filming Tips :
Remy got to the prison after a little attempt of his attorney to reduce the jail terms he was given 15 years. In the prison cell, different creatures started appearing to him, saying multiple things at the same time, he started screaming get out of my head while raining curses and abusive words. He started losing his mind, then degenerated to hitting his head on the wall, he was declared demented and was sent to the psychiatric hospital.
The news spread all over the world that he had lost his mind. His mother saw it on the TV and went to the hospital with his daughter to see him. He was brought out to them in chains, his mother busted into tears likewise his daughter who was seeing her biological father for the first time. Remy was sober, he recognized his family, his mum told him he can’t fight the devil in his court and expect a win. His mum led him to Christ.
In Oklahoma City, Tina was about to mount the stage to perform before thousands of audience, she had lost her joy because of the news about Remy which she saw on the TV. She was feeling guilty for her role in his downfall. Her doppelganger showed up and told her it wasn’t her fault, that he was stubborn and that he knew the repercussions and still went for it. Tina was not interested in all she was saying, suddenly, the doppelganger entered into her. Her face lit up and glow, she mounted the stage and performed while some fans were crying because of their love and loyalty to her.
At the end of the performance the doppelganger came out of her at the back stage and asked her if it was fun or not, she didn’t respond, the doppelganger hissed and walked away. Joanne rushed to her with excitement. That was amazing she said, I have never seen you so fearless and powerful before, whatever you took that gave you the performance of your life must be taken before the next show. Tina didn’t respond, Joanne was surprised, common girl, snap out of this, what’s your problem? Are you seeing things again? Will you go to church or something? Tina said nothing.
Remy was taking back to the prison after he became stable, he accepted his daughter and started growing in faith through constant visit of his mother. The spiritual warfare started, inmates were sent by the cults to beat and torture him, officers of satan also started tormenting him. The more the pain he endures, the more the Lord helps him to grow. He kept saying it is better to die chasing God than to be comfortable with the devil .
Thanks for your time, the final saga comes up next week, it will be long, so be prepared. The screenplay won’t follow this trend, it will be much more intense and intriguing. Filming Tips :
Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend? I am so sorry for the delay, it was due to Nigeria peculiar mess.
The video is the first Trailer cut of Prime Suspect as announced last week.
A conference was held in Los Angeles not too long, it was majorly for movie editors all over the world. Some questions were raised during the interviews of some of the participants. Like, what software do you like using most? What is the greatest challenge you usually face as an editor?
I was impressed and encouraged by the answer provided by almost all of them. The major challenge they have is how to cut down the contents they have meaningfully without leaving out any important thing. Based on my observation, foreign stories are often more than they need in order to make it tight and so nice without dull moments.
Often times, our stories maybe sincerely 30 to 40 minutes content which we then stretch and make it 2 hours film, some group of people will even make their own part one and two. Then you will see such space being filled with meaningless elongation, then you need to watch it with your remote control, then you start fast forwarding. I have seen two hours movies in 5 minutes before. I know you must have seen such movies both secular and gospel films.
Some of those things I know as the reason for this are lack of exposure, laziness, ignorance and pride.
Exposure: If you are so restricted by the doctrines of your church and your pastor, you may not reason deeper before you write. If you are not watching the news, going to other people's programs it will affect your world view which will in turn affect your reasoning.
Laziness : If you are too lazy to read you maybe very shallow. Read read and keep reading. Read novels, newspapers, writeups, and different literatures that can help you soar higher in knowledge. If you read other people's opinion in their books you will learn one or two things which will energize you, and encourage you to reach deeper. The Fire Dancer was started like a joke, I wanted to show us what horror story should feel like, after the first one, I made some research and decided to add a pending story I have for some years now, then it started getting bigger and better. Then I started making research online on the theme, I went on YouTube and Foreign TV stations for the life of the celebrities and their vanities. I read literatures in line with my theme and that enlarged the story in my heart through the inspiration from the holy Spirit of God.
IGNORANCE : Under the law, ignorance is not an excuse. Some people produce movies believing that their stories are much more powerful than Agbara Nla, Emi Fun Emi and The Story of My Life in their mind. When it is out and others see it, then they will face the reality that they have no story to tell. Get wisdom, in all thy gettings get understanding.
PRIDE: This goes before a fall. When you hear that someone made a serial film and he is known for it then you decide to produce yours, you then patch some things together which shouldn't be more than one hour story, and made it 6 hours, this is not right. It is not a must to write your own movie, you can produce other people's story.

Filming Tips :
As the blindfold was removed, they each saw their beloved in tears before them, they were so scared, their beloved then disappeared as the congregation continued with their chants. Tina passed out! She opened her eyes several hours later in Celina’s apartment, she asked if what she just was a dream or not, Celina told her not to be hard on herself, 'your mum is only going to fall sick as a result of the seal, that’s all!' What seal? She asked with astonishment. 'The seal of the covenant' she replied. What covenant? I didn’t agree to sign any covenant that will get my mama sick; she said angrily. 'You signed your soul to Lucifer the day we went to the first party you attended, besides, nothing goes for nothing my dear; Presidents, Congress men and women, entertainers and famous people you can think of signed the same document followed by a seal.' Tina got up angrily, ‘nothing must happen to my mama, okay?’ Celina walked to her gently, 'I assure you that nothing will happen to her but you must not say anything about this to anyone for your own good.'
Tina was extremely happy when she got home and met her mum healthy and hearty; she hugged her mum specially. The woman kept wondering what has come over her, and what it was with all these excitement. Three weeks later her mom had cold, it was not taken serious by anyone until the situation degenerated. Three months after, her mother died! She tried to convince herself she wasn’t the cause of the death.
Back to the present day, so I killed my mother Tina said with tears, her doppelganger then told her she didn’t like tears and disappeared. Joanne came backand saw her cryin; 'What is it, are you still burdened with your nightmare?' She asked. 'I just remembered some things but don’t worry’ she said as some radiance returned to her face like she had a solution to her problem which she just realized. She took her phone and went to her room to call Remy but the line has been blocked, so she called another friend who gave Remy’s current number. Tina asked Remy whether there is a way out of the evil covenant which they had signed.
Remy told her he got tired of the fame and so called wealth since the day they took my first love in a covenant sealing sacrifice without my knowledge, then the next girl friend I managed to love after that was also killed because I was trying to warn you not to make the same mistake I made. Then they both started lamenting the days of odd sacrifices and ritual sex with animals and illegal meetings in odd times. ’People envy us for our fame and glamour, we envy them for their freedom' Tina said . Remy told her they’ve been told there is no way out since they control the system that governs this world but 'I will rather die chasing God than to be a king in the kingdom of satan' he said meaning every word with great determination!
Remy refused to attend any meeting, black Friday or black moon, Tina couldn’t stay back for the fear of her doppelganger. Some fellow rappers came to visit Remy to find out the reason for his absence, he told them he was done! He was made to understand that it is not possible to be freed from the owners of this world but he said he would take his chance. The visitors left after making him realize he was on his own from that day on. Few hours later, a demonic spirit appeared in his bedroom and told him to prepare for war after which he will come back to beg. Remy confidently said Jesus would help him, the spirit left, then he heard a still small voice, “go to your mother”, it’s been 5 year since he saw his mum, he was angry with his mum because she took a baby whom he considered to be a bastard from a girl he didn’t love.
He was packing his luggage the next day when the police came into his house with a search warrant, he was further shocked when they brought out some guns from his closet with a bunch of drugs. They said he was reported to be a drug Lord and that his drug shipment from Cuba has been found with illegal weapon importation. TV stations and journalists filled his street. The defamation has just begun…!

Filming Tips :
Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend? Mine was a busy one with more work on Prime Suspect color job. Regarding the issue of close captioning which was mentioned last week, there is a software that makes it easier which I just learnt through YouTube, it is called Maccaption. I met a friend who just came in from the United States, he is into production like myself, he told me about this great software but it's only for big production studios because it's from 2000 dollars upward but it will enable you to do a month's job in a day.
"The Ignition" movie by Damilola Bamiloye actually fell under three different genres and they are: Drama, Romance and Comedy. "The Tribulation Night" by Mike Bamiloye fell under horror and thriller. "My Conclusion" by Shola Mike Agboola fell under Drama and so on, to mention but a few.
I mentioned these people because their films are well known. I remember the day I raised the issue of writing other genres other than just drama, a brother commented that I was right but surprisingly said that youths of nowadays love to see romance. He went further to say that as a means of meeting the needs of the youths, he will cast married couples to make it real on screen.
I want to believe that I didn't understand what the brother meant by doing things real. I know he could not have said that couples should do a pornography in the name of the Lord. I love making things as realistic as possible but not to the extent of causing anyone to stumble and no one can ask me to do anything stupid with my wife on screen. Please, we should be careful of what we dish out to people in the name of the Lord. We shouldn't place a stumbling block and stain the heart of those who are still struggling to stand.
The video below was put together by one of my guys, you will see the full version on MZTV and Redemption TV North America later. I also promise to dish out first trailer of Prime Suspect next week. The horror story titled the Fire Dancer continues tomorrow. It is written for the American audience and the people of the western world. You know the targeted audience will determine a lot in any screenplay, I have had this in mind for a while now with a little feel of real life story, just read along and you will understand, see tomorrow on that.

Filming Tips :
Tina was hanging on the top of a high mountain inside the forest crying out loud for help but none came. There were evil creatures flying all around her, too big and terrifying that she called out to her mother, who showed up at the top of the hill for help. She knelt down and stretched out her hand to help her. As her mother grabbed her right hand, she started climbing up, she climbed up successfully but her mum slipped and fell off the cliff.
Tina screamed! Alas it was a dream! She was on a flight to meet Celina in California, “thank goodness it was dream” she exclaimed breathing heavily. The flight landed and she was welcomed by Celina who later took her to the same mansion where they had their first meeting. It was an all night event, Remy was there but like someone forced to come to an uninteresting party, dignitaries in the entertainment and politics were there merrying as usual. The host of the event raised his voice speaking to the microphone and led them to the next phase of their meeting. People started walking in an orderly manner into the mansion, Tina looked at Celina who signaled her to join the people.
Inside the mansion there was a golden door with a strange inscription, everyone entered through it, Celina took Tina by the hand, took her aside, brought out a scarf to blindfold her, Tina asked if that was necessary Celina nodded in affirmation and whispered into her ear that it was a surprise. She walked blindfolded into the same door.
When Celina removed the scarf, Tina was shocked to see herself in a very large hall bigger than even the whole estate. The whole place was dimly lit, there were thousands of people in attendance. They were all dressed in white with a red tall cap and veil. To her right, she saw six people whose faces were left open without the uniform and eight people to her left. They all had a table – like computer screen before them and an electric pen. Their host who was also in uniform announced to them that they are about to take their businesses to the top of the world, he promised them fame and fortune, then asked them to think about the person they love the most who they will like to choose as their manager.
He started asking them one after the other, and told them to click the forehead of the person they love with the pen as his/her face shows up on the screen in front of them. They were all told to do it together at once, none of them argued or asked any question. He further told them to touch the liquid that comes out of the computer with their left middle finger and stamp it on their names in front of them to show their approval.
They all did it! It was blood that came out of the forehead of those they touched, Tina reluctantly placed blood on her name as instructed though there was confusion written all over her face. Only few of them were indifferent about it. The crowd of witnesses then echoed some chants together in a Strange language, these new members were scared, then their host took off his veil and welcomed them properly; congratulated them once again, then the rest of the members unveiled themselves.
Guess who the new members saw…. To be continued next week!
