Filming Tips :

Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend? I had a good time in the church yesterday as we celebrated the birthday of a very good friend of mine in Atlanta Georgia, Pastor Kunle Aroniyo of CAC Power House.

I boarded a flight from Washington DC to Atlanta this Saturday, and I was greatly surprised when I saw a young lady of about 34 years. She is beautiful in her own way, maybe an African or black American I coundn't tell, many on the flight noticed her selfie addiction. I am not sure whether there can be anyone who is much more addicted than this lady, when it was time for light off, she put on the light on top of her own seat when her flash couldn't suffice. We were on the flight for about one and a half hours and she didn’t rest. As soon as we alighted, she continued, through to the domestic baggage claim spot, if you know that airport you will understand that distance, then I started thinking that this must be Afishe i.e. bewitched. Because she was not changing her dress or makeup and she kept doing it till a car came to pick her up.

I am not against selfie because research conducted in a university in United States shows that it helps self esteem of those who have low self esteem, then I concluded that the lady must be suffering from serious low self esteem, I hope I didn't offend anyone but too much of anything is not good. Enjoy your selfie, I know some very good friends of mine that love it, but just don't let it be too much, just my opinion.

About two weeks ago I broke down to a little extend how codec works, and the power of compression. During the research on that topic I got to know many things as well and that's one of the benefits of teaching. I have known about camera science for a while now but not fully and even till now, I do not have all the knowledge on camera science but those who have been following this post more than two years know what they have learnt from it though we are all growing, only the proud will get stuck.

Ben Ope Johnson just concluded his film training, I am sure the students must have learnt a lot. I know there are people who would have loved to be there but because of the pride in their heart, they would have decided not to go, but some are expecting those who had attended to come and tell them what they have learnt. This is quite funny.

After camera codec, the next one is editing codec. I will advice that whatever codec  you shot with, should be the same codec you edit with. If you don't understand what I am saying then see my first two post in this October.

However, if you shoot on raw mode, you may not be able to edit it in that mode. Adobe premiere pro latest version can edit raw, all you have to do is to edit it in proxies mode though you need more understanding of file management in premiere pro. If you are using davinci resolve then you can edit raw footages even if it is 8k. All you have to do is to do your project settings correctly. Optimize all your raw files, do your editing, balance your audio, do your graphics and colour grade it in Raw format for maximum flexibility.  Then go to the menu to delete the optimized files, check your export settings very well, chose your delivery codec and you are done. By next week I will talk more about delivery codec and editing codec. I promised to explain how I do my own color balancing. I used to use color in final cut pro 7 studio, that was what I used for Alfa Sule video titled Pride 2, I used Avid Media Composer for Sunset At Midday a mount zion ' s movie and I used DaVinci resolve for Time Bomb a Beatrice Funke Ogunmola movie. The point I am trying to make is that you can use any software to do colour balance so long as it has levels or curve with scope and a good monitor you are good to go. Colour balancing is to ensure that the Red, Green and Blue channel are level where necessary. If you shoot a vegetable garden, you should know that the green channel must be higher than the rest, if you then forced the green channel to be at thesame level with the rest then you have destroyed the picture.

Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend? I had a busy one with my friend and prophet Kunle Aroniyo as we traveled to Harrisburg in Pennsylvania for one of our churches anniversary, I met with wonderful family of God.

I will like you my well wishers to help me appreciate those people who created the time to attend the movie preview of Prime Suspect last week Tuesday before I left the country. Post production wise the movie is not totally done yet, I am done with many things but there are more to be done, but I wanted some friends to watch it and criticize it for me in love, in order to fix the errors. You know your own work will always be the best in your own mind, this was the reason why I called this great people to come over. There are some people who will love to tell you what you love to hear and condemn you in your absence but there are some who will truly tell you their mind in love.

Abayomi Ojo is a good friend of mine and was also the production designer of the movie. He made mention of things that need fixing on the soundtrack and other things, he made serious observations which has been taken seriously.

Akin Alabi is a great creative guy, far beyond what I have known of him. This guy is really good, creative wise and technical wise, he pointed out those things that many wouldn't have noticed, constructively, he made a great contribution to the post production process. Watch out for this guy, he is bringing up something much more than what you know of him.

 Olaitan B Faranpojo is a genius. He was able to recieve the story, digest it, get all the points and told me things that can make the edit greater, tighter and stronger. I love this guy with his beautiful heart.

Ben Ope Johnson this is a great friend of mine who was there while I was writing the script. He encouraged me to write the story to become what it is today. He was the first to see the film, the film was much more than we thought so he gave the advice on how to go about the editing to reduce it for cinema purpose. He saw the version that has no soundtrack or effect.

Please help me to say big thank you to these great minds. Sorry if you think I should have invited you too, you are also special and important but if I invite all you my well wishers, then I will need to rent a stadium.

The overall comment of those who saw the preview was: "This movie has totally raised the standard of Christian film story and techniques". The premier will be coming up later maybe during Christmas because it is already late for festive season cinema, Olaitan Faranpojo will see to the Nigeria premier while I see to the premier here in United States during the festive season if God wills.

Filming Tips :

Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend? I had a very busy one as usual, trying to do some work and fix some things. Watch out for this guy in the picture. He is a great gospel singer, heavily talented and anointed to serve the Master with his talent. I have being busy with his works and some others.

For the past few weeks I have been concentrating on the prerequisites of colour grading. I tried to explain why we need to capture the best with the best camera you can afford in the best way you can, because this will determine the outcome of your colour job.

I shot a scene on the see, the colour of the costume the cast had was close to the colour of the flying boat, the colour of the water was also as close as it could get. Meaning, there is no sharp contrast between the cast and his environment. This is where a good preparation with a production designer has a big role to play. We often neglect the need for all these. Though there are shoots that are so impromptu. Like the one I told you I did, it was so impromptu. Please relax before you judge someone else's job, because you do not know the situation in which the job was done. I have shot a movie without microphone before, and without light. If you hear about it and condemn me with words of your mouth you are doing yourself harm because God will judge every idle word. I shot that movie some years back and some who have seen it said they didn't believe we did not use boom mic for the job because the audio was great. To do that is not ideal but some situations can make one do that which is wrong. Though it shouldn't be done deliberately because only the best is good for our God according to Evang Mike Bamiloye.

In davinci resolve, I tried to separate the water from the cast through colour picker but alas, the picker picked the cast and boat as well, that means I can't treat them separately. Though there is still a solution to that which is a little advance, those who are compositor will know about rotoscoping through which you can separate object without chroma, you can also key frame the nodes with power windows but all these could have been avoided had it been we have had the time to chose the costume and the boat.

The lesson I think we should pick here is to ensure we have sharp contrasts on set, this will help the overall outcome of the job from the colorist.

Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend? I had a peaceful one after a long week in Ila village at ilesha, I worked with wonderful people and a very nice producer, thanks to all those who made my stay a blissful one.

For the past two weeks I have been talking about types of video that are strong enough for color job and why you have to take it easy with some over compressed files. I will like to expanciate further. When you shoot Raw on Blackmagic cinema camera you are shooting a job that contains no compression at all. If you shoot with red, the raw can not be compared with blackmagic in terms of little compression that you find in some cinema cameras like Red and some Sony cameras. Nonetheless, you can't compare the strength of any raw file with a really compressed file. Canon dslr cameras use h.264 codec, but the style of compression of Canon 5d mk3 is better than that of others like 60d and 7d. Remember I told you last week that codec stands for Compressor and Decompressor. 5d mk3 uses ALL-I which makes it stand out compared to the  smaller ones earlier mentioned.

ALL-I is an intraframe compression scheme which, much like Motion JPEG, separately compresses each individual video frame. This yields higher quality video, but does so at the expense of a huge increase in file sizes. IPB compression, meanwhile, is an interframe scheme that compresses the video across multiple frames, inserting a key frame from which compression begins anew every 12 to 15 frames. In between these occasional keyframes are predicted frames, which require data from the previous keyframe and any intervening frames to reconstruct the final image.

Every cinematographer needs to always get the best he could from whatever tools he has, with this you will make the post production experts happy. Highest bit rate a 5d mk3 can capture is 8 bit which will give you 256 color info per pixel to work with, whereas a camera that shoots 12 bit will give you sixteen times more per pixel. I know that this is a little advance for a lay man to grab but I expect a cinematographer to understand his tools. We know in part and we prophecy in part, I am not trying to proof anything but I am just following and enjoying the grace given unto me, hope you are not offended?

I know you must have come across phones that shoots 4k resolution before even if you don't own one. When you see the picture captured by these phones on the device you will be amazed, but play it on an HDTV and you will see the extent of the compression. To edit a 12 bit video on an editing machine may not be easy.

I shot my movie The Prime Suspect in Raw, 12 bit depth, to edit it before I got my current iMac, I took it into resolve and created proxies, I took the proxy into Premier Pro and edited it. I generated xml files from the timelines and took xml back to resolve, I then linked back my original raw footages, as edited in premiere pro for color grading.

If you want to do colour grading, there are some prerequisites, there is a way by which you can manage your file in order not put yourself or the colorist into unnecessary trouble, we will start from there next week.

Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend? Happy birthday to our beloved country Nigeria. May God consume all your enemies with His fire, may you become a great nation in Jesus name. Amen.

Last week I made mention of the reason why you have to be careful when dealing with dslr footages in your colour softwares. I also said it is better to light well and shoot well without need for any colour work in post because of the limitations of the codec. This week,  I will like to go a little deeper in my explanations.

Codec stand for Compression and Decompression. Co is the act of compression while the Dec is the act of decompression. The media storage being used by dslr cameras are too small in size, the amount of data to be stored on it will need to be well compressed to make it fit into the media storage. This compression then leads to reduction in the strength of the footage compare to what the camera actually record. A filmmaker like Tunde Kelani often use external recorder that can record with a better codec like Avid DNXHD and Apple proress HQ. With this format, he will be able to have richer and stronger footages, you can now see why you may use thesame camera and come out with different results. You may now say, what if I convert the footage shot on h.264 codec to apple proress HQ, well, think about it logically, can you force a bag of salt into a small paint bucket, then try to put it back into the bag, can it fill it up again. The answer is no, what is lost is lost.

Bit Depth: The second thing that affect the footages, that can determine whether the footage is good enough for serious colour job is the bit depth. A camera that shoots with 8 bit depth can not be compared with those that shoots with 12 bit or more. With 8 bit you get 256 color per channel while with 12 bit you get 4,096 color per channel, though this will consume more space but you will have enough color information to work with.

Chroma Sub-Sampling is another way through which compression is also being effected. I shot my movie in Raw format on Blackmagic, so it doesn't have any form of compression at all. When I finished the color job of some scenes, I wanted to export it into the highest resolution possible since I can't export it out in Raw. I decided to export it in Ultra HD using Apple proress HQ but 444 chroma sub-sampling. The file was too heavy and bigger than I thought, I wondered why, until the research made me see that the closest codec to Raw is the one with the chroma sub-sample of 444.

There are cameras that shoot with 420, you can also shoot 422 and you can shoot 444 depends on your budget. 444 means out for pixels  (by the way, pixel stands for picture element) each of the pixel have their own color saved, this then means you have lots of your raw data stored up for use, then this will consume lots of space on your storage device. 422 means out of 4 pixels, 2 will store the color data while the other two will make use of what the first two has. The last option is 420 which means out of 4 pixels, 3 will disregard their own color and take the color data of only one. All these are efforts of compression and you can see that they all have advantages and disadvantages.  We will continue from here next week Monday.

Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend? I had a very busy one. We shot music videos for a gospel artist called kay Wonder , the rain was so much on the first day but the music also has to do with flood gate of heaven, it was supposed to be an exterior shoot so we just used our underwater cage and shot it in the rain. I appreciate all my guys who took the courage to work in the rain with me. May God bless you all.

Last week I explained vector scope and waveform out of the four types of scopes. This week I will dwell a little more on vectorscope before moving to the rest because someone asked me a question off Facebook on this topic.

Vector scope is that image in a circle shape, when the information on it is centralized, most likely your picture is well white balanced. Now that does not mean your picture is not balance if the info appear otherwise. What you are seeing on your screen really matters, because that is what determines the interpretation. Some professional cameras have scopes, this can help you to choose the right temperature on set. Waveform can be used to calculate the amount of light on your set, while RGB parade and histogram will show you the true colours you have on set, whether it is well balanced or tilts towards red, green or blue.

If there is a red curtain at the background and the cast on set is wearing blue shirt for good contrast, then red and blue channel will have more information than the green channel. All these could have been better explained in videos but in an environment where there are generator noises everywhere, you can't try such. There has been times when we had to go and meet people to help us switch off their generator for two hours in order for us to quickly shoot a scene, may God help nigeria.

Histogram is pretty much the same as RGB parade, you can use it to check your colour whether it is correct or not, you need to practice over and again to become familiar with these great tools.

Colour treatment according to my own definition can be broken to Colour balancing and colour grading. Colour balance simply means to balance the colour red green and blue.

Colour grading means giving your picture a look, creating the mood, using the tools to direct the viewers attention to what you want them to see. If you are not really sure of yourself,  it is better not to treat the picture than to do colour destruction in the name of colour grading, believe me, I have made such mistake before. I have finally finished the fire dancer story, I shortened some things to make it end on time. It is going to be a very big project which will be shot in United States if God wills. It will be written comprehensively as a novel which will be published if God wills before Easter next year tentatively. If I feel led to start another story I may start later but nothing like that for now.

The pictures below comprise a scope (waveform and vector scope), I, Me and Myself. The first two was treated with Adobe raw while the last one was not treated at all. These are raw files from a movie produced by Kehinde Ajetunmobi in United States titled "Closed Chapter", watch out for the trailer next week. There is this other movie titled The Strong Room where the prof Doyin Hassan danced to Bata, the two trailers are coming this weekend.

Color grading starts from the ability to study and understand the scopes, that was not where I started my learning and I messed up. You need to understand those scopes because they interpret the picture you are about to work on. There are four different types of scopes and I have mentioned two, the other two are  RGB parade and histogram.

Waveform can be of help when you want to interpret highlights, shadows and midtones. Waveform is waveform irrespective of whatever application. The upper part of the waveform shows you the highlight, the midtone is the middle while the lower part determines the shadow. The best way to understand it is for you to picture that waveform on your video, the rectangular shape represent the rectangular shape of your video. If the upper part contains more information beyond the topmost line then you have a bad picture, it is blown out, or there is a part of the picture that is too bright. If this occurs, and you are lucky you shot raw, just bring it back in post by reducing the exposure but if not raw then you can bring down your gain a little. If the middle has more information, then that is okay, if the information on the lower part goes beyond the last line then there is a part of your image that is too dark.

The image you are working on and what you intend to achieve with it is very important. You can switch the waveform to give you color or monochrome. If you look at this waveform, it does have enough information on the midtone but lesser on the highlight and shadow. You may have an image that requires the waveform to have info on the shadow part alone, this is not absolutely wrong, because it depends on your picture and your intention.

Vector scope shows us the amount of saturation on the picture, it shows you what part of the image is well saturated, what color is more saturated than the rest. This circle on the right side has magenta, cyan, blue, yelow, red, green. Again this also depends on what picture you are working on. Alomst all editing software has what we call color wheel for color correction. This color wheel is a replica of  vector scope, if you have more info in between the magenta and red, you can use the color wheel of gamma, pull it towards the opposite direction which is blue and cyan in this case, then you will see the changes immediately.

I treated those two pictures, the last one was not like I have said earlier. This is from the same shot but I brought out different looks from them, that's one of those things you can do with color grading. You can use any software to color grade so long as it has color scopes to monitor what you are doing. You also need to have a well calibrated monitor, otherwise you will finish the job before you discover that you have spoilt it.

Filming Tips :

Tina fell in love with an actor, his name is Ryan he is a white man and good looking. He has featured as the main actor in more than eight Hollywood blockbusters and he as wealthy as Tina. Tina considered talking to Joanne about her doppelganger and the cult she is involved in but restricted herself so she does not freak out.

Tina traveled to Hawaii to perform, after the performance her doppelganger told her she loved Ryan and that she wouldn’t have approved the relationship had it been Ryan is not in the brotherhood. Tina and her doppelganger now talks freely without any fear on her part.
Tina was shocked when Ryan who was in L.A. called to ask her how she managed to get to Hawaiian Islands so fast and ready for the show after the fun they had overnight. She said “what fun are you talking about? Then her doppelganger winked at her and whispered “that was me, I told you I like him”, furiously she hung up. You mean you slept with my guy? She demanded. But that’s not the first time, why are you angry with me? She replied. I feel like I should get a gun and shoot you right now. Go ahead she said nonchalantly. Tina rushed out to get a gun from one of her bodyguards, she rushed back in with rage, shot three bullets within five seconds, the only bullet that hit the target hit her on her right leg, Tina instantly dropped the gun because she was the one bleeding at the exact spot the bullet hit on her doppelganger.

Her doppelganger felt bad for hurting herself. Tina why don’t you understand that I am you, I kissed Ryan the first time you kissed him, do and even when I visited him yesternight, I’m certain you must have enjoyed the sensation also. Walking up to her gently with admiration, let me heal your wound. I was only trying to help, I know you desired to be with him yesterday and I decided to give it to you in proxy. We are one already my dear, she touched her feet and the injury disappeared. Tina’s bodyguards could hear voices but they were now accustomed to Tina talking herself. The conversation continued, I own your body now, we are one, we kiss whoever you kiss and on and on, but when you eventually get married and pregnant, I won’t carry the pregnancy with you girlfriend; she started laughing.

10 years later, Remy was about to be released, his mum and teenage daughter came to take him home, he had been seriously battered but glowing with grace. They left the prison and got home but his house had been sold to someone else. He wept profusely as they left for his parents’ place, he went to church with his mum and daughter and he climbed the pulpit to testify in the presence of the Lord. He started his testimony by explaining how he got initiated, how satanic agents are now everywhere, how the world governing bodies have been working for satan.

Remy got back home and called Tina who was surprised to hear his voice. He encouraged her to leave the cult before it will be too late. Tina then asked him how he had been living his life. He gave a quick run of all that had befallen him, Tina told him she was not ready for the humiliation and poverty yet, she said she will reconsider his suggestion as soon as she clocks sixty. Remy tried to convince her but her doppelganger showed up, collected the phone from her and hung up. Tina had two girls and she was happy with Ryan who had become Hollywood’s highest paid actor.

• After dropping the phone Remy was shocked to see his teenage daughter hanging on the ceiling suspended in the air and screaming, as Remy opened his mouth to call on the name of the Lord, a creature in the form of a snake appeared,  hit him and knocked him down. His mother rushed in and went into tongues, the creature’s head multiplied to three with fire coming out of her mouths, mama continued in tongues. Remy rose up in power,  he started declaring the scriptures and his right as a child of God, the girl dropped down to the bed and also screamed the name of the Lord, then the creature’s heads started to wither like dead leaves - one after the other, it started burning till it vanished but the whole room was in a mess. The family came together to bless the name of God.

Three weeks later, Tina was in the car with her driver when a truck ran the red light and hit her car, she died in the car, her soul came out of her body, she watched as the ambulance took her body away, her doppelganger came out clapping and mocking her. Why are you laughing? Is this funny to you, Tina asked. The doppelganger slapped her right there in the public and she flew and landed distance away, I have finished my  task over your life she said mockingly. Then she turned and became big giant ugly beast, Tina wanted to run away from her but a magnetic force was pulling her towards the beast, the beast took her by her right heels with its two big fingers, they started descending down into a huge dark hole, it stunk with a horrible smell, as they were descending the beast continued mocking, “I am sure this place looks familiar to you but this time, it’s forever, because it’s not a dream, this is for ever and ever” . Tina didn’t know what to think, she was still falling in the hand of this beast whom she had thought to be her friend.

They finally landed in hell, the place sure looked and smell familiar. The beast threw her into the midst of snakes. The beast screamed, you need some introductions; his voice echoed,  there are lots of departments here, I anointed you as the fire dancer to influence the whole world, for them to worship me whenever we come on stage.

The snake started biting her without anyone to help, she started screaming, there was so much noise everywhere, she couldn’t shed tears but she was crying. Another struck her neck, the darkness was very thick she could feel it like a dirty thick blanket. The beast came to take her on a trip, she could barely stand as a result sores on her feet yet the beast kept dragging her along without looking at her face. There are lots of disasters that call themselves “stars, celebrities” here, some of them have been here for more than two thousand years, by the way, your mother is also here, she curses you everyday for sending her here early, never the less, you are here now, you are my fire dancer, all the dancing steps I taught you have been made known all over the world, you have fulfilled your destiny. She saw pastors, Tele evangelists, leaders of nations before she eventually got to her station where she started dancing in the fire involuntarily and with so much pain. There were few short demons around with hooks and forks, they continuously pierced her as she continued to dance in the fire for demons’ pleasures.

Thanks for your time my people. Hell is real, please don’t get there before you believe,  be on the safer side, on the side of the Lord.

 Remember, it is better to die chasing God and standing for Christ than to reign with the devil!

Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend? I love this great week of my birthday which is full of activities.  I am glad to tell you that I share thesame day with some great men like Shola Mike Agboola and Kunle Adepoju, check them out, they are wonderful people. Today is not my birthday, it's on power night's day, so please don't let me start receiving birthday calls and messages from today but you can send me chickens. Drama ministers power night is coming up this Friday at Jogor center ibadan, oyo state nigeria. If you are outside the country you Can watch it online through Paul-Esupofo Oriade.

The video clip below is just a short clip I asked one of my people to put together. Inside that clip you can see that the last one was different because I showed you the raw version likewise the treated one. Today,  I will like to share the importance of color grading which I will love to dwell on for a while. I was introduced to color grading basics some years back when Soji Ogunnaike was treating kunle Afolayan's film titled figurine. Then I saw this my boss using a software called color to painting the picture to interpret the story in a beautiful way. I saw how he enhanced the smoke coming out of the cigarette and creating mask to relight the set. I was impressed and I opened up my mind to grab more.

Color grading is now popular in Nigeria music videos and movies. Lots of editors are now colorists even some who do not know what it means though there are great people with great brains in nigeria film industry. Despite our limitations with electricity and evil politicians we are still trying. I saw a show reel of a Nigerian animator and I was impressed, if such a guy had been in a better situation than the one we are since independence he would have become a great name in the media world. I respect Nigerians, we can endure lots of things. Economy is in recession officially and our leaders salaries are not affected at all, rather, banks and insurance companies slashed workers salary, minimum wage is 18,000 naira and a bag of rice is around the same price but instead of this wicked leaders to stop borrowing money to pay their own salaries and wicked allowances they keep inflicting more pain on our economy. Sorry I got carried away by my feelings as a patriot. I know millions of Nigerians are also feeling thesame but not knowing what to do, action group of Nigeria and other activists are also silent, I just don't understand what's going on.

Color grading is good, if done by a professional who knows his tools. However, there are lots of errors being done in the name of colour grading. I will teach it in my own little way, I will try to explain how you can do it even if you are not using my type of software which is davinci resolve. Fire dancer will be brought to an end tomorrow, so it's really going to be long. After which it will go to the person who will turn it to a novel though the guy will be given more details than what you have read.

Filming Tips :

Remy got to the prison after a little attempt of his attorney to reduce the jail terms he was given 15 years. In the prison cell, different creatures started appearing to him, saying multiple  things at the same time, he started screaming get out of my head while raining curses and abusive words. He started losing his mind, then degenerated to hitting his head on the wall, he was declared demented and was sent to the psychiatric hospital.

The news spread all over the world that he had lost his mind. His mother saw it on the TV and went to the hospital with his daughter to see him. He was brought out to them in chains, his mother busted into tears likewise his daughter who was seeing her biological father for the first time. Remy was sober, he recognized his family, his mum told him he can’t fight the devil in his court and expect a win. His mum led him to Christ.

In Oklahoma City, Tina was about to mount the stage to perform before thousands of audience, she had lost her joy because of the news about Remy which she saw on the TV. She was feeling guilty for her role in his downfall. Her doppelganger showed up and told her it wasn’t her fault, that he was stubborn and that he knew the repercussions and still went for it. Tina was not interested in all she was saying, suddenly, the doppelganger entered into her. Her face lit up and glow, she mounted the stage and performed while some fans were crying because of their love and loyalty to her.

At the end of the performance the doppelganger came out of her at the back stage and asked her if it was fun or not, she didn’t respond, the doppelganger hissed and walked away. Joanne rushed to her with excitement. That was amazing she said, I  have never seen you so fearless and powerful before, whatever you took that gave you the performance of your life must be taken before the next show. Tina didn’t respond, Joanne was surprised,  common girl, snap out of this, what’s your problem? Are you seeing things again? Will you go to church or something? Tina said nothing.

Remy was taking back to the prison after he became stable, he accepted his daughter and started growing in faith through constant visit of his mother. The spiritual warfare started, inmates were sent by the cults to beat and torture him, officers of satan also started tormenting him. The more the pain he endures, the more the Lord helps him to grow. He kept saying it is better to die chasing God than to be comfortable with the devil .

Thanks for your time, the final saga comes up next week, it will be long, so be prepared. The screenplay  won’t follow this trend, it will be much more intense and intriguing. Filming Tips :

Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend? I am so sorry for the delay, it was due to Nigeria peculiar mess.

The video is the first Trailer cut of Prime Suspect as announced last week.

A conference was held in Los Angeles not too long, it was majorly for movie editors all over the world. Some questions were raised during the interviews of some of the participants. Like, what software do you like using most? What is the greatest challenge you usually face as an editor?

I was impressed and encouraged by the answer provided by almost all of them. The major challenge they have is how to cut down the contents they have meaningfully without leaving out any important thing. Based on my observation, foreign stories are often more than they need in order to make it tight and so nice without dull moments.

Often times, our stories maybe sincerely 30 to 40 minutes content which we then stretch and make it 2 hours film, some group of people will even make their own part one and two. Then you will see such space being filled with meaningless elongation, then you need to watch it with your remote control, then you start fast forwarding. I have seen two hours movies in 5 minutes before. I know you must have seen such movies both secular and gospel films.

Some of those things I know as the reason for this are lack of exposure, laziness, ignorance and pride.

Exposure: If you are so restricted by the doctrines of your church and your pastor, you may not reason deeper before you write. If you are not watching the news, going to other people's programs it will affect your world view which will in turn affect your reasoning.

Laziness : If you are too lazy to read you maybe very shallow. Read read and keep reading. Read novels, newspapers, writeups, and different literatures that can help you soar higher in knowledge. If you read other people's opinion in their books you will learn one or two things which will energize you, and encourage you to reach deeper. The Fire Dancer was started like a joke, I wanted to show us what horror story should feel like, after the first one, I made some research and decided to add a pending story I have for some years now, then it started getting bigger and better. Then I started making research online on the theme, I went on YouTube and Foreign TV stations for the life of the celebrities and their vanities. I read literatures in line with my theme and that enlarged the story in my heart through the inspiration from the holy Spirit of God.

IGNORANCE : Under the law, ignorance is not an excuse. Some people produce movies believing that their stories are much more powerful than Agbara Nla, Emi Fun Emi and The Story of My Life in their mind. When it is out and others see it, then they will face the reality that they have no story to tell. Get wisdom, in all thy gettings get understanding.

PRIDE: This goes before a fall. When you hear that someone made a serial film and he is known for it then you decide to produce yours, you then patch some things together which shouldn't be more than one hour story, and made it 6 hours, this is not right. It is not a must to write your own movie, you can produce other people's story.

As the blindfold was removed, they each saw their beloved in tears before them, they were so scared, their beloved then disappeared as the congregation continued with their chants. Tina passed out! She opened her eyes several hours later  in Celina’s apartment,  she asked  if what she just was a dream or not, Celina told her not to be hard on herself,  'your mum is only going to fall sick as a result of the seal,  that’s all!' What seal? She asked with astonishment. 'The seal of the covenant' she replied. What covenant? I didn’t agree to sign any covenant that will get my mama sick; she said angrily. 'You signed your soul to Lucifer the day we went to the first party you attended, besides, nothing goes for nothing my dear; Presidents, Congress men and women, entertainers and famous people you can think of signed the same document followed by a seal.' Tina got up angrily, ‘nothing must happen to my mama, okay?’ Celina walked to her gently, 'I assure you that nothing will happen to her but you must not say anything about this to anyone for your own good.'

Tina was extremely happy when she got home and met her mum healthy and hearty; she hugged her mum specially. The woman kept wondering what has come over her, and what it was with all these excitement. Three weeks later her mom had cold, it was not taken serious by anyone until the situation degenerated. Three months after, her mother died! She tried to convince herself  she wasn’t the cause of the death.

Back to the present day, so I killed my mother Tina said with tears, her doppelganger then told her she didn’t like tears and disappeared. Joanne came backand saw her cryin; 'What is it, are you still burdened with your nightmare?' She asked. 'I just remembered some things but don’t worry’ she said as some radiance returned to her face like she had a solution to her problem which she just realized. She took her phone and went to her room to call Remy but the line has been blocked, so she  called another friend who gave Remy’s current number. Tina asked Remy whether there is a way out of the evil covenant which they had signed.

Remy told her he got tired of the fame and so called wealth since the day they took my first love in a covenant sealing sacrifice without my knowledge, then the next girl friend I managed to love after that was also killed because I was trying to warn you not to make the same mistake I made. Then they both started lamenting the days of odd sacrifices and ritual sex with animals and illegal meetings in odd times. ’People envy us for our fame and glamour, we envy them for their freedom' Tina said . Remy told her they’ve been told there is no way out since they control the system that governs this world but 'I will rather die chasing God than to be a king in the kingdom of satan' he said meaning every word with great determination!

Remy refused to attend any meeting, black Friday or black moon, Tina couldn’t stay back for the fear of her doppelganger. Some fellow rappers came to visit Remy to find out the reason for his absence, he told them he was done! He was made to understand that it is not possible to be freed from the owners of this world but he said he would take his chance. The visitors left after making him realize he was on his own from that day on. Few hours later, a demonic spirit appeared in his bedroom and told him to prepare for war after which he will come back to beg. Remy confidently said Jesus would help him, the spirit left, then he heard a still small voice, “go to your mother”, it’s been 5 year since he saw his mum, he was angry with his mum because she took a baby whom he considered to be a bastard from a girl he didn’t love.

He was packing his luggage the next day when the police came into his house with a search warrant, he was further shocked when they brought out some guns from his closet with a bunch of drugs. They said he was reported to be a drug Lord and that his drug shipment from Cuba has been found with illegal weapon importation. TV stations and journalists filled his street. The defamation has just begun…!

Filming Tips :

Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend? Mine was a busy one with more work on Prime Suspect color job. Regarding the issue of close captioning which was mentioned last week, there is a software that makes it easier which I just learnt through YouTube, it is called Maccaption. I met a friend who just came in from the United States, he is into production like myself, he told me about this great software but it's only for big production studios because it's from 2000 dollars upward but it will enable you to do a month's job in a day.

"The Ignition" movie by Damilola Bamiloye actually fell under three different genres and they are: Drama, Romance and Comedy. "The Tribulation Night" by Mike Bamiloye fell under horror and thriller. "My Conclusion" by Shola Mike Agboola fell under Drama and so on, to mention but a few.

I mentioned these people because their films are well known. I remember the day I raised the issue of writing other genres other than just drama, a brother commented that I was right but surprisingly said that youths of nowadays love to see romance. He went further to say that as a means of meeting the needs of the youths, he will cast married couples  to make it real on screen.

I want to believe that I didn't understand what the brother meant by doing things real. I know he could not have said that couples should do a pornography in the name of the Lord. I love making things as realistic as possible but not to the extent of causing anyone to stumble and no one can ask me to do anything stupid with my wife on screen. Please, we should be careful of what we dish out to people in the name of the Lord. We shouldn't place a stumbling block and stain the heart of those who are still struggling to stand.

The video below was put together by one of my guys, you will see the full version on MZTV and Redemption TV North America later. I also promise to dish out first trailer of Prime Suspect next week. The horror story titled the Fire Dancer continues tomorrow. It is written for the American audience and the people of the western world. You know the targeted audience will determine a lot in any screenplay, I have had this in mind for a while now with a little feel of real life story, just read along and you will understand, see tomorrow on that.

Filming Tips :

Tina was hanging on the top of a high mountain inside the forest crying out loud for help but none came. There were evil creatures flying all around her, too big and terrifying that she called out to her mother, who showed up at the top of the hill for help. She knelt down and stretched out her hand to help her. As her mother grabbed her right hand, she started climbing up, she climbed up successfully but her mum slipped and fell off the cliff.

Tina screamed! Alas it was a dream! She was on a flight to meet Celina in California, “thank goodness it was dream” she exclaimed breathing heavily. The flight landed and she was welcomed by Celina who later took her to the same mansion where they had their first meeting. It was an all night event, Remy was there but like someone forced to come to an uninteresting party, dignitaries in the entertainment and politics were there merrying as usual. The host of the event raised his voice speaking to the microphone and led them to the next phase of their meeting. People started walking in an orderly manner into the mansion, Tina looked at Celina who signaled her to join the people.

Inside the mansion there was a golden door with a strange inscription, everyone entered through it, Celina took Tina by the hand, took her aside, brought out a scarf to blindfold her, Tina asked if that was necessary Celina nodded in affirmation and whispered into her ear that it was a surprise. She walked blindfolded into the same door.

When Celina removed the scarf, Tina was shocked to see herself in a very large hall bigger than even the whole estate. The whole place was dimly lit, there were thousands of people in attendance. They were all dressed in white with a red tall cap and veil. To her right, she saw six people whose faces were left open without the uniform and eight people to her left. They all had a table – like computer screen before them and an electric pen. Their host who was also in uniform announced to them that they are about to take their businesses to the top of the world, he promised them fame and fortune, then asked them to think about the person they love the most who they will like to choose as their manager.

He started asking them one after the other, and told them to click the forehead of the person they love with the pen as his/her face shows up on the screen in front of them. They were all told to do it together at once, none of them argued or asked any question. He further told them to touch the liquid that comes out of the computer with their left middle finger and stamp it on their names in front of them to show their approval.

They all did it! It was blood that came out of the forehead of those they touched, Tina reluctantly placed blood on her name as instructed though there was confusion written all over her face. Only few of them were indifferent about it. The crowd of witnesses then echoed some chants together in a Strange language, these new members were scared, then their host took off his veil and welcomed them properly; congratulated them once again, then the rest of the members unveiled themselves.

Filming Tips :

Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend? I had a nice time with my family, lesser work and more family time. There are some new inventions in the technical world which really amazed me. 8k cameras has started spreading though we are yet to move into HD in Nigeria due to the fact that the Nigerian broadcasting coperation kept changing the date of the final switch to HD. We are still in SD till date, there is no HDTV broadcast in Nigeria except those ones brought in by DSTV the south African company.

I saw 360 degree camera at work at the just concluded Siggraph conference in United States https://youtu.be/Uz2CWipbekw check out that video, use your hand to move it 360 degree, use your mouse if you are using mouse. We are yet to move to 4k shooting with normal camera and now there is 8k 360 degree sensor camera. I kept wondering what led to this technology and in what way can the world benefit from this apart from documentation purposes. Then I thought this should be very good for security purposes, I mean one of this can replace 8 security cameras, if your company need this I can supply and install it for you (sorry for the advert).

DaVinci resolve has released a new version of their software that will really benefit windows users, get to their website and download it, proress can now be easily decode on windows. Phantom 4 by DJI has now become the smartest drone on earth with four special sensors that detect obstacles and avoid it on its own. The world is not stopping or waiting for anyone, knowledge is increasing all over the world, please don’t just lay back, improve on yourself daily, spiritually and mentally, with these you can be the best of you.

Filming Tips :

Joanne walked into the fifth living room, well furnished with an Italian touch - french fabrics were used on all the curtains in blue with a touch of gold, the white Italian tiles on the floor were laced with royal blue flowery design, all electronic gadgets are voice automated; courtesy the high speed internet operational in the whole mansion.

The first thing Joanne noticed is that the room seems darker than usual, she said "Light on", and the lights came on, then she sees her friend coiled on the golden sofa holding a brown coffee color throw pillow sobbing with her face turned away from everything but the chair.

Joanne quickly dropped her bag on the floor and rushed to her friend, her black high heel shoes and her tight black micro skirt almost made her fall on Tina Kardashian her long time friend already clad in her white night wear. She gently placed her friend's head on her laps as she sits on the sofa,  she starts to ask different questions without any answer from Tina who is staring at nothing in particular.

Tina runs her own show on national TVs, she is the most popular beautiful screen goddess,  her dark skin and perfect figure 8 shape makes billions of men on earth yearn for her nakedness while some secretly masturbate while holding her picture, and she is very wealthy in her late 20s. Joanne started wondering who or what could have put her dear friend in such a state? After much persuasion Tina finally speaks...

"The place was very dark, the darkness was indescribable, there was noise everywhere, I couldn't see anything at all, oh....the darkness,  I can still feel it in my throat  (coughed)", Joanne interrupts her: "what in the world are you saying?"
After a while, I was... oh! This is too much... (crying aloud) Tina continues, "I was actually standing at the feet of a 17 year old girl, I just know she should be of that age,  I saw a tiny snake crawling out of her left leg from a hole that looks deep inside, oh! You can't imagine the pain in her voice as she gnashed her teeth in pain, it took me some time before I could figure out what she was saying, she was begging for death then I cried out in fear when I saw a terrible creature using a hot iron to burn the left breast of this teenager, the girl was wailing but no one came to her rescue, ho... what a shame.... she looked at me in pain and said "you sent me here, you destroyed me", with tears I responded "I've never seen you before ", the girl answered, "you were my idol", then someone dragged me like a piece of sheet and threw me into the midst of fire, I started crying for help, then I had totally forgotten all I have acquired  on earth, I shouted Jesus the name I only use for fun because I once overheard a TV preacher that it could save me, instead of safety, a sharp object pierced my face, oh, I can still feel the horrible pain on my face. I wished to die but it seemed to be totally impossible,  I was... I was much more terrified when I saw that the person who had pierced my face was actually me, she was 100 percent me, then she transformed and became a very horribly looking creature. She told me to start dancing in the fire, I was naked, the fire was filled with dollars burning, I was too dumbfounded to ask a question,  then the creature told me, I must keep dancing because he had appointed me to be a fire dancer since i was a teenager ... to be continued. .....

I was shivering with my pierced face; she changed again and this time in one of my best dresses, the whole place was full of thick smoke, there were horrible sounds from everywhere, I didn't know whether I was sweating water or blood.

Something that looked like a scorpion entered into my right leg; it stung me inside, as it  crawled to my upper part, this my doppelganger kept talking, I couldn't think staight! I should lose my mind but that didn't happen, I can still feel the pain. "she looked at her friend who was still shocked and speechless and continued", my doppelganger yelled at me, let me refresh your memory; she gave me a terrible slap that sounded like the string of 10 electric guitars in my ear. Many people appeared there with tons of evil creatures around to deal with them mercilessly. They seem to multiply every minute both old and young, the cry and agony in that place is inexplicable, no one cared about anyone because we were all in pain.

Her slap landed me on a stage in Atlanta where I held a live performance with 100,000s in attendance, waiting to hear me sing and dance. The floor manager got on stage to notify my guys that it was time. I saw myself coming out in that dress, I wasn't really strong to take the stage because I just sniffed a little cocaine and the crowd was the biggest I have ever seen, the scream from my fans was too much, then I saw my doppelganger in the same dress come out from nowhere, merged into me; I became bold and strong and felt like a goddess who is ready to recieve worship, i started singing and the whole crowd was engulfed in it. I even heard someone scream "I will die for you Tina", then I looked at her, I didn't know what caught my attention to the statement from that young lady, I winked at her in appreciation though I don't remember any of that.

My doppelganger then looked at me where we were standing and said "I winked at her not you, I made that girl go into drug overdose and die though she was a pastor's daughter and I am sure you have met her here", when she mentioned here I discovered that we were back in this place of horror and the scorpion - like creature in me has now reached inside my tommy then I fell back into the fire, rolling up and down in pain...

Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend? I had a very busy one as usual but to God be the glory. Please brace up, this will be one of my longest post but trust, there will be no dull moment as we continue on the story: The Fire Dancer

I started screaming on the floor while this my doppelganger continued laughing at me, the pain from the scorpion was indescribable, the smell in that terrible place can't be explained, there was ominous sound and horror in the air, a lady was dragged along the left side of me by another horrible creature that was as short as a dwarf but fat with only one big eye on his forehead, a tiny nose and a very large mouth, the lady looked dead but my doppelganger had made me understand that no one can die here, only eternal pain and anguish, different types and sizes of insects were coming from her body, I managed to role to the other side of the fire when I saw an extremely big insect like creature dropped out of the soul of her feet to join the scorpion bites in me.

Back into her gorgeous livingroom. Tina continued; that was when I found out I actually role out of my bed, she turned to Joanne; what is wrong with me Joanne? Joanne was speechless,  later she took a deep breath and told her friend to try to go and freshen up first while they think about what to do. Joanne was about to remind Tina of the show she had to present in the evening but cautioned herself that it wasn't the right time.

Tina managed to get up, her friend gaze on, Tina still held unto her tommy, then Joanne offered to help her to the bathroom, inside the bathroom the doppelganger was already waiting inside the mirror, Joanne entered first, held her friend's right hand, walked her to the mirror where she supposed to brush her teeth, Joanne helped her to put paste on the brush, since Tina's left hand was still on her tommy, Tina took the brush with sorrow written all over her face, she started brushing, Joanne was looking into her friend in the mirror, then Tina lifted up her head and saw her doppelganger smiling at her, she passed out immediately.

Ambulance sirens was blasting as they rushed Tina to the hospital, this is the biggest hospital in the city of Boston in United States, three doctors surrounded the stretcher including her personal doctor with seven nurses running with them, Tina's nose was covered with oxygen, Joanne was not allowed to enter into the emergency ward, lots of attention was given to this great celebrity, some journalists managed to force their way into the hospital but the security was at alert to push them out, Joanne didn't have to answer any of the questions being thrown at her.

Inside the private room, Tina woke up as the doctors were still trying to carry out some tests on her, her personal doctor, Dr Alfred asked her if she was okay, he flashed the light into her right eye and left eye, when Tina came into her senses she screamed out in terror, she wanted to jump out of the bed with all her strength but the doctors held her down, Tina was not seeing the doctors, she was seeing doppelganger in all the uniforms, she was crying for help while they were trying to inject her which they did as she passed out again.

After eight hours, Tina woke up, but this time she opened the right eye slowly, the terror had made her forget the pain in her stomach, she discovered she was alone, she sighed and opened her left eye, she saw her own news on the TV in her private ward, the reporter was saying that Tina Kardashian had been in coma for the past eight hours, she looked around for a bell to call for attention, then she saw her doppelganger sitting beside her, then she smiled and asked her not to scream, I am a friend, she said smiling, Tina wanted to shout but she couldn't open her mouth, she was shaking and sweating in terror.

Have I done you any wrong? She asked. I am your friend, now let me show you what I mean, she touched her finger and all her pains disappeared.  Tina was very healthy and strong, her doppelganger continued talking to her, "I have been with you long ago, when you decided to take your career to the next level and you got our approval, why am I even telling you all these since you were part of the whole process. I am sorry about the nightmare you had, that wasn't from me, so long as you remain my friend and cooperate with me, you can never suffer any after life bull sheet, if you are my friend you will reign with me forever. I will see you at your show tonight, please when you see me don't Frick out, your show starts in two hours time, don't worry, I won't come to your show like this and don't try to look for me because you won't see me, we will talk when you return home tonight but don't try to go elsewhere because you are smarter than that. She winked at her and left through the door, her personal doctor came in as soon as her doppelganger left, she was looking at Dr Alfred suspiciously, when the doctor smile she stood up in bed, the doctor was approaching then she screamed and said "don't come near me", he was astonished, "I want to go home now" she demanded, "it's okay, relax Tina, can you just allow me to check if you are okay to go home now?"

Another white doctor brought her friend in, Joanne had wept seriously which had affected her makeup, Joanne walked to her friend and hugged her, they were both crying. Joanne asked her friend how she was feeling, she said she was okay but still afraid of every moving object.

An hour later, Tina was home in her livingroom with her friend, one of the maids came in with some wine, her friend encouraged her to drink, she then asked her to follow her to the bathroom one more time to freshen up but this time they were both afraid, she came out dressed gorgeously since all her clothes were of the highest class, she wore no makeup, her friend told her she needed to use the toilet, she stood up, as she was going Tina's doppelganger sat beside Tina, she wanted to call her friend to come back but she couldn't talk though Joanne was still within the sitting room .....

Filming Tips :

Joanne didn't notice what was happening as she walked out of the livingroom, Tina's doppelganger smiled and said "why are you making things difficult for yourself, I told you your nightmare was not from me. Nekushti was just messing with your brain just to ruin our relationship, you know I took away your pain, I love you Tina". Tina was still in puzzlement when one of her house maids came into the room with a serving tray of two glasses of wine intended for Joanne and Tina. She was shocked when she saw the doppelganger and she almost threw off the tray but smiles when the doppelganger winked at her. Tina was confused the more when Nancy the housemaid served the doppelganger, she couldn't believe what she was seeing, Nancy placed the wine on a stool and left.

Are you surprised Nancy could see me? The doppelganger said, don't be, Nancy should be your best friend among your maids, because she is a loyal servant, she is an hybrid. I know you want to know what an hybrid is. Tina shook her head to indicate no, the doppelganger started seeping her wine,  by now Joanne was approaching, the doppelganger placed the cup on the stool back, Joanne almost sat on the doppelganger, she shifted for her to sit beside her friend.  Tina started reflecting on what brought her to this.

Seven years ago, Tina was in her parent livingroom with two friends of her, one is Jenny and the other one is Joanne, they were watching  a show on TV, Celina the greatest singer and dancer at that time was singing with hundreds of thousands in attendance.  Tina adore her and started seeing her as a mentor, the three of them started dancing as she was singing their favourite song.

Tina did a video with her friends, she sang as the lead singer and showed some dancing steps. The video was placed on YouTube, it generated over seven million views, Tina started getting calls from different recording companies, she was only eighteen years old, her parent was glad their daughter was getting noticed. Celina was at the roof top of her penthouse sitting down besides the pool, she was watching Tina and her friends on YouTube with some interest, she signal one of her bodyguards to bring her phone then she made a call.

Tina was shocked to receive a letter from her screen idol Celina, she shared the news with her friends who were equally excited. A week after, a limousine was sent to her to take her to the airport where a private jet was waiting for her, she was a lone in the jet with air hostesses and one of Celina's bodyguards, they gave her more than she requested for. The flight took them from Mississippi to California where she eventually met Celina who gave her a royal welcome. Tina explained how her life dream has come true by meeting her mentor, Celina was excited as well, they spoke together and Celina promised to take her to the top of her career.

She got back home and shared her experience with her parent, her dad decided to be her manager but the mother objected and said she was the best candidate for the job since she was a choir mistress but their daughter told them she would decide who her manager would be later, Jenny's mum who was there when Tina was sharing her experience told them she had a strange feeling about all these Celina issue, Tina's mum claimed she was envious and that was what separated the two families.

Three months after, Celina sent her private jet to  pick Tina for a special meeting with the industry tycoons she was excited as they stepped into a very big mansion, majority of the people there were great men and women in politics and entertainment, they all looked glamorous, Tina was excited the more. Celina whispered to her as they walked by that they were going to have a meeting over night, and that she should be ready to sign up a deal that will make her forget about lack forever. A young man who was also a popular musician was there, he saw the young Tina and looked at her pitifully, he walked up to the two of them and ask Celina if he could have a dance with Tina, Celina agreed and Remy took her hand heading to the dancing floor.

On the dancing floor, Remy started talking to Tina, he told her he was impressed with what she did on her YouTube video, then asked her why she was there, Tina wasn't comfortable with the question, after a little persuasion from Remy, she told him she was there to sign a deal, Remy told her if she wanted to still be in control of her life she better not sign any deal, she was shocked and asked him why did he say that? Remy said I can't tell you more than that, Celina noticed that they were actually doing more of talking than dancing, Remy knew that Celina was suspecting him, then she turned his back to Celina and quickly told Tina not to say anything to Celina, Tina asked him if he has not signed his own deal, he said he had and that was why he didn't want Tina to throw away her soul. Celina Started walking towards them....

Hello everyone, hope you had a great day? Sorry I had to delay the post till today for some obvious reasons. Before I continue the horror genre story, I want to tell my technical friends to take some time out to learn "close captioning". I know you know how to subtitle but that can only work for you in a third world nation like ours, if you get to the civilized nations of the world, you will have to use close captioning instead of subtitling. Subtitling is also called open caption, however, subtitle programs that can be activated and deactivated are called close captioning - this enables you to have more than eight languages on a video through authoring.
Authoring is a systematic programing of  media contents in an organized manner into a device. It may be on a DVD disk, a Blu-ray disc or in folders. We do this in Horeb Digital Network. Now let’s continue the Fire Dancer story...

Tina turned back and surprisingly saw Celina staring into her eyes. Celina gently touched her left shoulder and asked with a concerned smile “did he hurt you sweetheart?” No, she replied, “okay let’s get out of here”, she gently held her right hand and walked away into the mansion where there were few guests standing  in twos and threes. Celina greeted some of them and then introduced Tina to a particular man who looked more like the host in his tuxedo, the man later took Celina aside to discuss. After their discussion they called Tina to join them in a tastefully furnished office.

Celina narrated the reason for the meeting to Reinard, the host, who thereafter gave Tina a contract paper to sign offering her a record deal. In addition, she will be given one million dollars as sign-on fee, this money Tina is to lavish on herself to ensure she attains the classy status/ poise befitting of a celebrity before her next meeting with the duo. Tina's joy knew no bounds but Celina assured her that that was nothing compared to opportunities ahead. Celina on her part also added half a million dollar cheque for her parents in gratitude to them for raising such a talented child!

Tina got home to discover a card in her bag belonging to Remy, obviously he must have secretly dropped it in her purse. She was torn between calling him or not but since Remy had earlier warned her not to sign, she decided not to call.

Tina began to live in affluence, her parents also bought a mansion in the neighborhood of the elites of the city, where Tina had a magnificent room to herself.

On a particular sunny day, she came to accept that the thought of calling Remy had been on her mind. Remy was playing a video game in his big livingroom with his friends when the call came in. He excused himself when he discovered it was Tina and walked out to the poolside. Remy asked her if she had signed a contract; rather than reply, Tina asked him the same question. Remy answered in the affirmative and told her that was the reason he didn’t want her to make the same mistake. Tina bombarded him with an array of questions. Look Tina, I am willing to provide all answers but I  guess they will be of no use if as you already signed the blood covenant. Never! Tina exclaimed. "I signed with a pen and not blood." Remy went further: was there any ritual done on that day? "No, what in the world are you talking about? If living in a comfortable house is a mistake, then so be it”. As Remy was trying to explain further, a thunderbolt came out of the wall and struck his fiancée who was standing by the poolside with her friends, she fell into the pool, blood gushing out of her nose and ears. Remy dropped the phone on the floor and dove into the pool to get her out.

Inside the hospital, Remy and few friends were together waiting for the doctor’s report. The doctor came out and led Remy back into his office. What is wrong with my fiancée, Remy asked turning around to face the doctor. He instead saw the doctor transformed into a beast who then warned him not to divulge further information to Tina, "Our secret must be kept secret", he roared. Remy jumped back and hitting his head on the door. The death of your fiancée is just a warning for you to stick to the rules of our society. Mind your business!" There was a knock on the door. The doctor back in his human form held the door knob, “you have been warned, now get out of my office”. Remy rushed out to meet his friends. They were surprised to see the shock on his face and inquired why. Remy walked out of the hospital without uttering a word, his friends followed him wondering what the doctor did to him.

Tina received a message to finish up her music  demo which she had started working on with her friends. After an intensive week and upon completion of the demo, Tina and her friends decided to relax, with bottles of champagne and loud music. They were having fun when Celina’s men came in to take her to L.A. with the demo she has just finished. …to be continued

Filming Tips :

Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend? I got a message from a friend of mine, it was an audio message. This happened to be a prophet praying, I was happy and I started saying amen, then I suddenly stopped. I had to stop because the player started sounding like witchcraft to me, it was like total act of wickedness on friends and families.

What is wrong with these so called prophets and evangelists who curses others in the name of blessing their own clients or members. I know most of you must have heard some prayers that sound demonic before, while some might have said amen to such prayers mistakenly, some said it deliberately.

Have you heard prayer like, "you shall be the one who will be feeding your siblings, your siblings shall look unto you for food, you shall be their ruler, without you they will amount to nothing, your siblings shall serve you, no decision will be made without consulting you, you shall be the light of your family, your friends shall come to you for help, without you your associate can do nothing, they shall wait on you to make financial decisions, your mother's children shall be your servants, you will be the lonely star in your village, your star shall outshine the rest in your village and your family..... and so on.

I do not expect a genuine child of God to say amen to such demonic prayers. You may not agree with me but try to analyze each of these statements. If someone else has prayed that prayer before you realize that such prayers exist and the Lord has answered, what would have happened to you and your children. This is really getting common, please don't send me such a demonic prayer again. This is a total act of wickedness and lack of understanding on the part of those men of God, a genuine minister of the Gospel should pray only biblical prayers.

Some funny Yoruba speaking pastors will lead prayer like, jumi si kanga aseyori that is, throw me into the well of success, and some other crazy and funny prayers, yet it is unlike the aforementioned demonic prayer points.

I am sorry I left video training for this sermon, but I think God will be happy I did, and that is the most important person to me. If I were you, I will ensure I pray for myself and family saying, every demonic prayer being offered against me and my family be nullified in Jesus name. I will touch some areas next week.

Filming Tips :

Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend? I had to embark on a journey to Houston to meet some of our brethren for the purpose of the gospel and I am having real fun on the set.

It was a nice experience in a very cool atmosphere but I had to do something I have never done before. Controlling the lens and the camera and holding the boom mic at the same time. I had to do many things myself when I went to Cameroun but the experience is totally different here.Holding the boom and shooting at the same time, it was fun anyway. because some cast also helped, the producer is a very wonderful person and her people also tried.

Have you ever thought of editing your job on Blackmagic DaVinci resolve? It is a very nice software and easy to use for someone who is use to final cut pro x. It works like avid and final cut pro. It has source and program monitor like the rest, and it comes with a magnetic time line technology like final cut pro x, the advantage of this are so enormous. I would have loved to do a video on this but not yet, because I will like to take DaVinci resolve and the basics of colour correction at the same time.

Under the brightness of the sun in this picture, I had to make use of the giant reflector you see me holding in this picture to bounce the light of the sun to light the face of the cast in the car, the car was parked backing the sun, if you shoot straight without light, that cast face will give you silhouette and that is why I said you should not go on a location without your five in one reflector. I hope I will be able to do video for us. I really appreciate you all.

Hello everyone? Hope you had a great weekend? I Remembered something I heard from Dr. Phil's program about a Nigerian who was trying to dupe a Canadian woman, it was said that the guy is in Lagos and trying to gain Canadian citizenship after collecting over 250,000 dollars from the woman. I am not sure if this is true but if it is, it was a serious character assassination to all Nigerians on an international TV program. I know we can say that a percentage of the father's and politicians of Africa are the major natural disasters we have, but how about a corrupt culture that we have imbibed?

I know that the head affects the body, but can't we change? This should start from each individual, we can determine to be the change. My friend went to the mall to buy something for me, the attendant cheated him, he was about to go home when he realized that he was cheated, he went back to the lady and the lady apologized and begged that he shouldn't alert the authorities. This lady is also a Yoruba woman, she would have lost her job or even go to jail over one dollar, and once you go to jail in America, the best thing is to go back to your country as soon as you are out, because your record is stained forever.

What has this got to do with filming? Media affects the society grossly. Nollywood need to come up with story that can affect our mentality positively. In American films, you see guns everywhere and film about terrorists. if you listen to the news that is what you see everyday. In Nigeria however, our stories are full of girlfriend boyfriend nudity and sex, a percentage of Yoruba films are terrible with curses. They portray Yorubas as touts, why are we showcasing dirty things about our culture, don't we have normal educated people in Yoruba land? Why should we be cursing and cursing at all times. I know some stories require it, but it shouldn't be 95 percent of our stories.

 If you are shooting a movie about touts then there must be curses and touts attitude, that is for Yoruba movies but English is full of other dirty things. Look at Kunle Afolayan stories, look at Tunde Kelani stories, how about Tade Ogidan stories, they are all unique. Please let's use media to change the society and the world at large. President Obama is preaching against the use of gun in America, I believe that would be much more effective if he can contract five Hollywood companies to make stories to support this good course. If President Barack Obama will connect me I can also write a story to help this great campaign.

Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend. I had a busy one and it was a wonderful experience in the cold. I will share the pictures on facebook later today, you need to see how I dressed like someone going into the moon. Why won't I? Naija is really far to this place, I can't kill myself, and that is why I did not fakosi at all.

I am so sorry I could not do my posting last week, I am a one man here, I hope I am forgiven? This video is the last of the three series. For you to be a very good editor, you need to sit with a superior editor, but these videos will help you to start something, if you are a beginner, go through the 3 videos, I have posted two before this, they will help you.

I have some other things I like us to share, but it has nothing to do with movie technicalities, I will post this later in the week. We continue on our post production discuss next week.
