What is wrong with us?

I really want to appreciate all those who commented on the last post. Sharing of experiences will go a long way in helping us to refocus.

I attended a convention of Pastors and Ministers Prayer Network last month at the redemption camp. In this meeting I met lots of great men of God like Emmanuel Kure, Steve Ogan, and so on. A missionary who finished from Capro came up to tell us about the scheme of the Islamic world. The biggest mosque in Nigeria is in the east, with love and not violence they are converting Christians in the east gradually. You now hear of someone named Alihaji Emeka, Alihaja Chinyere in igbo land. What are we Christians doing? Fighting each other, fighting for positions and our church not Jesus church. To islamise Nigeria, the government is not intending to announce Nigeria as a Muslim country, all the Muslims have to do is to ensure they cover everywhere quietly without fight since they know Christians are busy fighting for their churches and their leaders are much more concern about having private jets than giving the money to missionaries in the remote villages.

Some pastor will go out on Saturday looking 25,000 naira perfume because his perfume has finished and he must smell nice on the alter. They will climb the pulpit to showcase their wrist watch which was bought for them by a senator. They will preach and tell people that the money they have is nothing yet, concentrating the heart of the church on materialism instead of the Gospel of Christ. What is wrong with us.

With the introduction of homosexual, lesbianism, and other demonic laws, I don't think the Lord will still delay his coming much longer. We are so carried away because those who are supposed to be in the believers class are now the G.O's and area pastors. There was a time some group of drama ministers were fighting on facebook over creation of association and leadership, come and see the display of pride on a social network. What is wrong with us?

When I started posting trainings on facebook a fellow minister saw me and asked if my target is to become Ancedram president, I looked at him and thought within me "how could some people be so myopic? " is that the book of life? Why are we always chasing the shadows, lots of us have lost concentration on our calling, what is the message giving to you as a messenger? Because a messenger without a message is useless. Are you called to destroy the church or to build it? And are you aware that the church is not your congregation?

A Pastor was harassing his members and warn the members that if they leave his church he will curse their angels. I was shocked when I hear things like this and that is what I am saying about those who are in leadership position who are suppose to be members under discipleship. What is wrong with us?

A Pastor was sharing a testimony with me in order to instill his fear into my heart. The prophet said a lady was prophesying as a prophetess, she started displaying some arrogance towards me then I declared with authority that she should run mad, she is in the state of madness till date. As soon as I heard this, I stylishly run away from him. This happened about ten years ago. What is wrong with us?

Some prophet will see evil revelations towards someone, if they disclose the vision and the person rejected it out rightly which is not wise though, they will go on fasting that that evil must come to past so that that fellow will know that they are men of God. What is wrong with us?

As regards my last post, some people made us understand that past experiences was the reason why people close their eyes to other believers. I believe we have the omniscient as our God, if His Holy Spirit is inside of us then we should have discernment of spirit, and this will guide our decisions. Imagine a Pastor asking me to go to the authorities in Mushin before I can stay in the church overnight, is that because of fear or wickedness. Why do people fear the devil more than the regards they give to our God. What is wrong with us?

I don't know how Jesus will be feeling now, seeing the church he prayed for in John 17 in total disagreement. Please tell me people, what is the way out? What is wrong with us?
