Christian Film Production Tips :
Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend? I am so sorry I couldn't do my posting last week because there was no good signal at the location on that faithful day.
What is wrong with some doctors in this part of the world? They play with people's lives anyhow. I lost a wonderful father because of a wicked lazy doctor some years back. All because the doctor could not diagnose what the problem was, and none of them could ascertain what to do they were just using their former experience to tell lies instead of them to tell us they had no clue. By the time someone could give us correct diagnosis, it had become an irrevocable damage and we lost one of the most brilliant Nigerian ever.
Recently, a sister of mine was feeling sick and she was advised to go to the hospital for proper attention. She got there and the doctor asked her how she was feeling? She told her she couldn't describe it, and that the pain was all-over her entire body even in her stomach. She explained further that she didn't have strength at all. The doctor at this general hospital told her to go and buy some drugs which she wrote in a paper and handed to her. Because I had insisted that a test must be carried out before she takes any drug, she told the doctor that she should be put through some tests before anything and the doctor said she didn't need any test that it was the pain in her stomach that affected the whole body. She came out of the hospital and gave me a call so I told her not to buy any drug but to go for it at another place and when she did we discovered that she had typhoid on a high side. Then she showed the paper given to her by the first doctor, the drug was to cure ulcer. I asked her to throw the paper away and thank God she is perfectly okay after been treated for typhoid fever.
Who do we blame for this wicked attitude of our medical practitioners who play games with people's lives?
The pictures were from a movie I just directed in Ondo state. We lit a sitting room which we converted to bedroom. You can see the second picture, throughout the wide and close shots the colour contrast was the same because we didn't have to change the lighting position for any shot and we were able to track well.
I will place another post tomorrow because I need to make up for that of last week. Please what do we do about this costly mistakes from doctors?
